How you enabled Amharic input

Can you tell me how you enabled amharic input in the maharic wikipedia website. I wanted to enable amhaaric input the way you did it in my mediawiki website as well.Is it via extension or some other setting, i'd be great if you can explain.

Hi, the Amharic input method is implemented through javascript. The core code is located at Mediawiki:Translit.js and there is also code at Mediawiki:Vector.js that actually loads the Translit.js code and enables it for various boxes such as the edit box, rename box, search box. Amharic name of government agency

On page 2 of this document http://www.lebcaa.com/pdfs/App%20A.pdf it states the Amharic name of the en:Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority. What is the Amharic name?

Article translation request - collaboration

Hi Elfalem, how are you? Mate, I was wondering if you might be interested in a little collaboration. I am trying to find someone who speaks Amharic who can help to translate the article at User:Russavia/Polandball into Amharic. In return, I would be happy to upload 50 Ethiopian aviation photos to Commons, which I hope could be used to encourage new article creation or article expansion/development on Amharic Wikipedia. I have access to some 200,000+ aviation photos which I am able to upload to commons under a free licence, and there is a lot of historical and modern photos of Ethiopian airlines, military, airports, etc that I can choose from.

I uploaded a dozen or so already which can be seen at User:Russavia and I would keep a gallery on my userpage of photos as I upload them.

Might you be interested in collaborating on this? Or if not, perhaps recomment an editor who would be.

Free digital camera available

Hi guys, I just wanted to find out if 1) either of you are situated in Ethiopia or 2) know of any editors who are in Ethiopia, who might be interested in this. Ethiopia isn't very well represented on Commons in relation to photos, and if a camera would assist an editor in Ethiopia to help to increase our coverage of Ethiopian photos, then I believe this is a great opportunity for an Ethiopian editor and for Wikimedia/Wikipedia. Ethiopian 787

First photo on Commons of Ethiopian 787.

Hi mate, I have recently uploaded a photo of the first 787 for Ethiopian Airlines which was delivered to the airline a few weeks ago -- Ethiopian being the first non-Japanese airline to operate the aircraft. Do you know anyone who would be interested in creating an article for the Boeing 787? My Javascript is down!

For some unknown reason, javascript suddenly decided to stop totally on my very old computer (I desperately need to get a new one when I can afford it). This means I cannot use pop ups, I cannot change wikidata, and worst of all, I can't write in Amharic since there is no way to switch to Amharic font. I hope I can figure out how to resolve this soon, but in the meantime I can only do edits that don't involve typing Amharic. (Luckily I can copy paste to continue making Gregorian days with my template) So I just thought I'd let you know...
