confusing title ለማስተካከል
From some of the lines and the links to the other wikipedias I guess this article is about Internet, not WWW. If I am correct on that, I feel the title is misleading and wrong, as Internet is merely a netowrk of networks (referece: Internet). The web is only one subset. As for me, it might do more good if we keep internet as it is, or else find a better translation. "የኮምፒውተር አውታር"ም "computer network" ነው አይደል? BTW, what exactly is meant by "ድረ ገጽ መረብ"? may be, does የድረ ገጽ አውታር make more sense? አብዲሣ አጋ »ጭውውት|አስተዋጽኦ« 15:48, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
Hmmm.. I'm not sure either, but I take 'ድረ ገጽ' to translate 'website' (a web of pages), and the word 'መረብ' strictly speaking does not mean 'web' but rather 'net' (For instance a fisherman's net can also be a መረብ...) so I guess ድረ ገጽ መረብ then is a net of websites, same thing as the "world wide web" or internet, right? As for አውታር it can have a similar figurative meaning but is literally harp-string, I think... ፈቃደ (ውይይት) 16:29, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
i'm purposely trying to keep it simple. users who want to read this are probably those who require simple explanation. i'm daring to define servers as testenagaj and for clients too. is there a definition that i don't know of. what do you think.
about the distincition b/n internet and www. i don't think readers shouldn't be told much about it. knowing the distinction is not very important.
planning to include: browsers, connecting to the internet, ISPs
