Is the EURion Constellation applied on Birr notes ??

Just yesterday, I was watching on news of the counterfeit two hundred birr bills captured by the Addis Abeba Police force.

I know that any copy machine recognizes the EURion Constellation on any currency bills, and would not print it.

I'm thinking, may be the Ethiopian Birr bill does not have it, that must be why it has become an easy target...

Could anyone give an authorized answer on this ?
