Translation requests

Sometimes we get requests for articles to be translated from other languages into Amharic. While this is not always immediately possible, this is a page to list such requests.

Machine translation

As of February 2016, it is now possible to obtain google translations with Amharic. The quality of the much vaunted effort by Google leaves much to be desired. For one typical example, at present it renders "Random page' in the left side bar into English as "Resoonaght". Thanks to google search, I was able to be persuaded that this word with this spelling only exists in the Manx Gaelic language, with the meaning given as "debate, discussion, judiciousness, logistics, reasonableness." At least Google Amharic translation seems to be slightly better than the Japanese and Korean google translation, but not much better.

Translation request ለማስተካከል

Where do I place translation requests? If these do not already exist, the articles about en:Ethiopian Airlines, en:Ethiopian Airlines Flight 961, and en:Leul Abate should be in Amharic.
