It takes the single cabin SkyCar two minutes to ride the steel track to the top, and it can descend to the lower station using its own weight in the event of a power outage.[1] The suburb of Stamford Hill occupies the foreground, flanking the M12, Durban Central lies behind with some container cranes of Bayhead also visible, while the Bluff forms the backdrop.
